Discount Travel Vacations Packages To Cuba

Travel Vacations

Finding and booking discount travel vacations packages to Cuba is no big deal. But actually ending up with a cheap Cuban holiday is a different matter, and it needs some smart planning and knowledge of how things work here. But let’s start with booking the package first, and then look at the practical travel tips for cheapskates.

Cuba is the Caribbean’s biggest island, and straddles the Caribbean Sea on one side and the Atlantic Ocean to the north, facing the United States. It is just a quick 90 mile hop from Florida. Canada isn’t that far off either, with a 3-1/2 hour flight between Toronto and Havana.

These two particular points are important, because first – US citizens can’t go to Cuba as tourists. Secondly, most people assume that Havana, being the country’s capital and most famous destination, is the only gateway in and out. Not so, because international charter flights operate right out of resort destinations like Varadero.

It’s cheaper to book these charters than to make the local journey from Havana to the resort destination in question. It’s just as easy, since most of the popular tourist destinations are also on the north coast facing the Atlantic. This includes Havana and Varadero, plus resort islands like Cayo Coco or Cayo Santa Maria and destinations in Holguin like Guardalavaca.

Travel destination in India

Travel Destinations

Delhi –
Laid out by British architect Edwin Lutyens, the Indian capital is a striking modern metropolis. A gracious contrast to Old Delhi’s winding streets, the grand avenues and stately buildings of New Delhi are rich with history and culture, from Gandhi’s Delhi home (and the site of his assassination) to the tomb of Humayun, a complex of Mughal buildings reminiscent of the Taj Mahal. Chaotic traffic is best left to the locals. Negotiate a good price for taxis or travel on the new Delhi Metro.

Taj Mahal Agra
Built by a grief stricken Emperor Shah Jehan as a memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal , the Taj Mahal has a structural elegance and pristine beauty that has been rarely matched .

It took 20 thousand men nearly 22 years to build the mausoleum and the finest of skilled artisans were brought in to inlay the white marble edifice with precious stones and to conjure filigreed marble screens around the centaphs of the emperor and his beloved queen .

Ultimate Africa Travel Adventure

Adventure Travel

A Kruger Park safari is not a once in a lifetime experience, simply because very few people go only once. The park has a huge amount of repeat business, in no small way due to the fact that it encompasses such a massive area of land, and includes so many different camps (with variant themes) and animals that no trip is exactly the same as the previous one.

The Kruger Park was originally known as the “Government Wildlife Park” which later became the Sabi Game Reserve and, when finally expanded upon into the geography we know today, ultimately became the Kruger National Park – so named after Paul Kruger, then president of the Transvaal Republic. The primary reason for the park”s establishment was to safeguard the animal population of the region against rampant hunting, but no one could have imagined just how successful Jakob Louis van Wyk’s idea would become.

At this stage the park covers nearly 20,000 square kilometres and is, clearly, one of the largest national parks in the world today. To put this massive size into proper consideration, you could say that it is the size of a small country, though it is larger than either Wales or Israel. This kind of space has allowed the development of dozens of separate camps, each with their own themes and specialities, which is part of the reason for the park’s vast success.

Florence City Travel Guide

Travel Guides

The city of Florence can well pass for the place with the greatest art in the world. Buildings are adorned in it, and this combined with the great architecture, make the initial statement well worth believing. So you have planned to visit the city and be part of its glory, then you need to have all the travel information that may help you make that necessary trip.

Amerigo Vespucci international airport is the one closest to the city, with the driving distance being about fifteen minutes, by bus or taxi in this case. If you opt for the bus, there is the Ataf Sita Vola in Bus service that costs 4.50 Euro one-way. It transports to the central train station that gives you access to the other major cities in Italy. The trains are fast and modern and they connect you to the rest of Italy and essentially Europe too.

To get into Florence via car the A-1 Autostrada is the best highway.

It connects to Bologna, Milan and even Rome. Driving around the city is somewhat complicate and if you happen to rent a car, be sure to ask about getting in and out of the city without violating the ZTL- these are rules. Once in the Piazzale Michelangelo, you can make the parking but only for a specified amount of time. You can pretty much walk from here on end since the distance to the heart of the city is not too long.
